Also known as the 'Standard of Care for Animals Amendment Act of 2017' Patrick's Pet Care dedicated the grand opening of its Brookland Facility to raise awareness of the cause. The law establishes a standard for adequate shelter for dogs and other animals under extreme weather conditions and clarifies what is prohibited behavior toward animals and updates penalties for owners of pets who violate the act.
